You won’t be disappointed with any of the offerings at this extra casual, fine dining establishment. Plying their gastronomical trade for the past decade at this location, the long-time US expatriate owners, Mike & “Evie” strive to make sure all their patrons enjoy their time, as much as their meals, in the friendly, family-like atmosphere the Cantina is known for.
Exemplary service, provided by an experienced, welcoming staff, guarantees your wanting to return to enjoy the ambience, fine fare, time and again. With an emphasis on Seafood, from the Shrimp Quesadillas to the fresh Fish, Shrimp or Scallop tacos at lunch to the happy hour or dinner appetizer of “to-die-for” calamari, tuna tostadas or steamed clams, to name just a few, will leave you hard-pressed to finish your main entrée. They are also known for, knocking it out of the park, fish preparation, if you should get lucky and hooked up on this vacation! Yet fear not, red meat lovers, the Canadian bacon is real, the filet mignons are cooked to perfection (don’t miss that mushroom/blue cheese sauce on that particular entrée!), a ½ lb. of a freshly ground, hand-packed premium beef “Lupe Burger”, all are sure to satisfy the carnal needs of any of your party.
Dinners echo the seafood theme while also offering local cuisine, Mexican dishes that let you know what REAL Mexican food is supposed to taste like, outstanding pastas, scrumptious chicken dishes plus salads and soups, don’t even get me started on the salivating deliciousness of the New England style Clam Chowder or the classic Tortilla Soup! You’ll need to try it for yourselves and report back to me, via Trip Advisor or Yelp or Facebook or Google biz, if you’re so inclined. Boasting a full bar and a discerning wine list, you’re assured of a perfect drink accompaniment.
